Koontz-Bryant, P.C. provided civil engineering, landscape
architecture and surveying on the renovation and major
expansion of an existing high school situated on approximately
60 acres. The renovation included the demolition of
all existing parking facilities, storm drainage system,
water lines, sewer pump station and tennis courts.
The new facilities included the design of parking
facilities for approximately 850 vehicles, storm sewer,
gravity sanitary sewer, storm water management, three
multipurpose athletic fields, tennis courts and a
softball field. The project was phased over a three
year building program with over 80% of the site work
completed in an initial 120 day period. Construction
stakeout was provided by the Koontz-Bryant, P.C. Survey
Department. The overall project construction cost
was approximately $28 Million with the site work portion
near $3 Million. Architecture was provided by Ballou
Justice Upton, Architects, Richmond, Virginia.
