This project consists of the construction of an approximately 160,000
square foot WAL*MART Supercenter, with 30,800 square feet of retail
shops on the site and associated off-site roads and utilities. Off-site
improvements include the construction of approximately 4,100 linear
feet of four lane median divided and undivided curb and gutter roadways,
two traffic signals, 3,500 linear feet of waterline and 2,000 linear
feet of sanitary sewer. Offsite work will be constructed in two
phases with the majority of construction in Phase 1. Phase 2 construction
includes the crossing of a major stream with the proposed roadway.
Koontz-Bryant will provide surveying, civil engineering, environmental
services, and landscape architecture for Phase 1 and Phase 2 of
this project.
In 2001, Paul F. Hinson, P.E. of Koontz-Bryant, P.C. was named “New
Engineer of the Year” by WAL*MART, Inc.
