EXPERIENCE
Mr. Koontz has over nineteen years experience in the planning, design, contract administration and management of engineering and surveying projects. Projects representative of Mr. Koontz's experience include:

Project Manager/Engineer responsible for site design, layout, grading, utilities and drainage for 2,000 acre residential/commercial golf course project. The project included two miles of offsite road construction, 1.5 miles of offsite 16" waterline design, rough grading and drainage plan for golf course, commercial site plan for $1.5 million dollar recreation center and to date, 7.2 miles of internal road network. $4.0 million estimated road construction cost. Chesdin Landing Residential Community, Chesterfield County, Virginia.

Project Manager/Engineer for 15 acre commercial site for a recreation center. Design consisted of grading, drainage, site layout and 3000 L.F. of offsite 12" waterline. $1.2 million estimated construction cost. Short Pump Community Center, Short Pump, Virginia.

Project Engineer responsible for site design, layout, grading, utilities and drainage for multiple 1 acre commercial sites. $1.5 million estimated construction cost for each site. AutoZone, Inc. sites, Richmond, Virginia.

Project Engineer/Surveyor responsible for design and construction of eight miles of private roads on a 1500 acre site (approximately eight more miles to design in the future). $2.1 million estimated construction cost. Sabot Hill Farm, Inc., Manakin-Sabot, Virginia.

Project Engineer responsible for providing layout, grading, drainage and utility plans for new concession/storage/restroom facility at existing county park. $100,000 estimated construction cost. Henrico County Recreation and Parks Department. Henrico County, Virginia.

Project Engineer responsible for layout, grading, drainage and utility design for 130 lot subdivision. Site consisted of 3500 ± feet of road design, 3500' of waterline, 5000 feet of sanitary sewer. $1.0 million estimated construction cost. Wilton Development Corporation, Richmond, Virginia.

Project Engineer responsible for multiple design of improvement to existing Post Office sites. The designs included grading, drainage and utility work along with phasing of construction to maintain access to existing facilities. Estimated construction costs range from $100,000 to $300,000 per site. U.S. Postal Service, Richmond, Virginia.

Project Engineer responsible for site design on Southside Middle School. Design was comprised of grading, storm sewer, parking, roads, sanitary sewer, waterlines and offsite road improvements. Estimated site work cost $1 million. Southside Middle School, Richmond, Virginia.
